Surah 69
Surah Al-Haqqah: The Sure Event
Revealed at Makkah
69:41
and it is not the word of a poet. Little it is what you believe!—
69:42
nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little it is what you mind!
69:43
It is the revelation from the Rabb of all the worlds.
69:44
And had he fabricated against Us certain sayings,
69:45
We would invariably have seized him by the right hand,
69:46
and then We would certainly have cut through his aorta.
69:47
Then not one of you could have stopped from him.
69:48
And surely it is a Reminder for the reverent.
69:49
And indeed We know for certain that among you are the beliers.
69:50
And certainly it is of course a grief to the Unbelievers.
69:51
And truly it is the Certain Truth.
69:52
Therefore glorify the name of your Rabb,— the Greatest.
