Surah Al-Qalam: The Pen

68:41
41 Or is it that they have associates? Then let them bring their associates, if they be truthful.
68:42
On a Day the shin will be exposed, and they will be called to prostrate, but they will not have capability.
68:43
Their looks will be cast down, ignominy will cover them up. Because they were called upon to prostrate themselves, while yet they were safe.
68:44
Therefore leave Me alone, and him whoever belies this discourse. We shall draw them gradually, from whence they do not know.
68:45
Yet I bear with them. My plan is certainly firm.
68:46
Or do you ask them for a fee, so that they were burdened with debt.
68:47
Or is the unseen with them, so that they can write down?
68:48
Therefore you persevere for the judgment of your Rabb, and you don’t be like the Companion of the Fish. Behold! He cried, while he was in distress.
68:49
Had not favor of his Rabb reached him, he would surely have been thrown on a barren shore, while he was blamed.
68:50
But his Rabb chose him, so He made him among the righteous.
68:51
And those who have disbelieved would almost smite you with their looks when they hear the Reminder; and they say: “Surely he is mad indeed.”
68:52
And it is nothing but a Reminder for all the worlds.
