Surah Al-Lahab: The Firebrand
Revealed at Makkah
With the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Rewarding
111:1
LET the two hands of Abu Lahab perish, and let him perish!
111:2
His wealth and what he earns will not avail him anything.
111:3
He will soon undergo roasting in the fire full of flames—
111:4
and his wife. The carrier of firewood;
111:5
round her neck will be a halter of twisted palm-coir.
