Surah Ad-Duha: The Forenoon Brightness

Revealed at Makkah

With the name of Allah, most Gracious, most Rewarding

93:1

CONSIDER the Forenoon Brightness;

93:2

and the Night when it darkens.

93:3

Your Rabb has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased.

93:4

And surely the Latter will be better for you than the Former;

93:5

and in time your Rabb will certainly give you that you will be fully satisfied

93:6

Did He not find you an orphan, so He gave you shelter?

93:7

And He found you groping, so He guided;

93:8

and He found you in want, so He enriched?

93:9

Therefore as to the orphan,— do not then oppress.

93:10

And as to the seeker, do not then chide.

93:11

And as to the blessing of your Rabb, then go on proclaiming.
