Surah Al-Insan: The Man

Revealed at Makkah

76:21

Over them will be robes of green silk and of thick brocade, and they will be made to wear bracelets of silver, and their Rabb will give them to drink a pure drink.

76:22

“This is indeed a reward for you, and your striving has been appreciated.”

76:23

Surely We Ourselves have revealed upon you the Qur-an in a revealing.

76:24

Therefore you persevere for the Judgment of your Rabb, and do not obey a sinner or an ungrateful one out of them.

76:25

And remember the name of your Rabb at dawn and at evening;

76:26

and during a part of the night prostrate before Him, and glorify Him at late night.

76:27

Surely these love the transitory life, and leave behind them a grievous day.

76:28

We Ourselves have created them, and We have strengthened their formation; and whenever We please We can replace the like of them in a replacement.

76:29

Certainly this is a Reminder, so let him whoever wishes take up a way to his Rabb.

76:30

And you do not wish except as Allah wishes. Surely Allah is ever all-Knowing, most Wise;—

76:31

He admits whom He pleases in His mercy. And as for the unjust— He has prepared for them a painful chastisement.
